Ben Zucker grew up in East Berlin in the Mitte district . He has two younger siblings named Sarah and Manuel. [2] He came to West Germany with his family shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall . He later returned to Berlin and lived there in a squat. He started playing the guitar at the age of 14 with the help of his father. First he covered English grunge and rock songs and then switched to German pieces.
